Starbucks...Healthy?
Without a doubt, Starbucks is my favorite place to go! I am a basic white girl when it comes to Starbucks, and now that it's Pumpkin Spice season, its very hard to not go every day. Even if you don't like the Pumpkin Spice lattes or fancy frappuccinos, chances are you like Starbucks for whatever reason. Last year alone, they made over 21 billion!

Although their coffee tastes amazing, its not always the best choice. 66 grams of sugar is in a GRANDE Caramel Frappuccino, and 420 calories. (If you're not familiar with Starbucks lingo, thats 16 oz). The maximum amount of sugar you should consume daily is 23g (on average) and this alone TRIPLES it!

Don't worry, there are some healthy options though. Firstly, I used to hate black coffee, until I tried black coffee that was made fresh in a French press or Chemex, your local coffee shop should provide this, so give that a try if you like black!
1. Light Caramel Frappuccino.........................................130 calories (29 sugars)
2. Non-fat Iced Vanilla Latte...........................................120 calories
3. Non-fat Iced Caramel Macchiato.................................140 calories
4. Skinny Vanilla Latte...................................................90 calories
5. Non-fat Cafe Latte.....................................................100 calories
6. Cafe Americano........................................................10 calories
7. Tazo Iced Passion Tea (w/o sugar)..............................0 calories
8. Mocha Light Frappuccino...........................................130 calories
To reduce the amount of sugar that is put into your coffee (which will reduce the amount of calories as well) have them put less pumps of whatever flavoring you get, that is pretty much 100% sugar!
